IRC (short for Internet Relay Chat) is a real-time internet chat protocol (similar to, but not the same as ICQ, MSN, Yahoo etc). TLUG offers a public IRC server.
To connect, point your IRC client here:
- Server: irc.tlug.org.za
- Port: 6667
- Channels: #tlug

Every Monday (And a few extras every now and again) is NickDay on #chat, on which you should change your nick to fit the theme of the day. NickDays started with the historical Punctuation NickDay of October 2005. Here is a list of NickDays #chat has had:
